Angela Isbell
Owner, Stylist
Angela Isbell is a born and raised New Orleanian with over 20 years experience as a stylist. Charming and an absolute pleasure to be around, time in her chair is never a dull experience. As a dedicated entrepreneur she has transformed Spa Isbell from a two-building operation to a unified salon and spa. Angela stays abreast of trends and techniques through continuing education at the Wella Institute in Los Angeles, CA. Angela is a color specialist that provides cut, styling, blow outs, perms, and keratin treatments.
Elizabeth Isbell
Nail Technician
Elizabeth (Liz) has 15 years experience as a manicurist. Her hands work magic during deep conditioning manicures and pedicures. She also specializes in mini manicures and pedicures between services. Don’t forget to ask her about shellac for hands and feet, as well as services for wedding parties — on and off location.
Katherine Mena
Stylist/Makeup Artist
Katherine is a hair and makeup artist currently based in the New Orleans area. She graduated from the Aveda Institute of Covington in June of 2016. Katherine continues to further her studies and keep up with trends by taking education classes and workshops regularly. She is a Colourbox trained makeup artist. (Colourbox is a Kerry Herta makeup program specializing in all aspects of makeup) Katherine is currently a designer at Spa Isbell while also a freelance MUA specializing in film makeup.
Gregor Young
Stylist
Gregor has been a hairdresser for over 30 years. During that time he’s worked on films, high fashion and behind the chair. He’s recently moved back to Nola. He specializes in razor cuts, curly hair, and hair color services.
Victoria Lopez-Stoot
Licensed Massage Therapist
Victoria brings great energy to the table through a positive attitude and refined skill. Taking into account her clients’ needs, she personalizes every session. She aims to relieve her clients of daily stresses so that they experience a mental and emotional freshness when they leave. Victoria received her training at Blue Cliff School of Massage and is nationally and state certified and licensed. Her experience and continued training includes ortho-bionomy, neuro-muscular, reflexology, sports, prenatal, Swedish, and deep tissue. Victoria’s been working with Spa Isbell since 2005.
Melanie Kemp
Licensed Massage Therapist
Melanie Kemp has been a licensed massage therapist since 2006. Melanie approaches each client with a healing mentality. She attended and graduated from the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics. Her specialties include hot stone acupressure and energy techniques. Melanie is nationally and state certified and licensed and has been with Spa Isbell since 2015.
Ryan WRight
Esthetician
Ryan is a Baton Rouge native who graduated from LSU with a degree in international studies. She has been a licensed esthetician since 2008 and is known for her “healing hands.” Ryan is passionate about skin care and works hard to provide each client with the best possible experience. In addition to spending much of her time increasing her knowledge through skincare education and trainings, she loves traveling, cooking, and quality time with family and friends.
Grace King
Esthetician
Grace is a Houston native, who came to New Orleans in 2017. At just 24 years of age, she is over 6x certified in continued education and training. She started her career in skincare as a Wax Specialist in 2021, specializing in hair-removal and brow maintenance. She likes to take time with her clients, showing immense kindness and absolute care, understanding the life stressors effecting their skin. Hobbies include painting, music and cooking.
